Just wanted to say thanks to the Bump Trying to Get Pregnant community boards for the SO for the book. So glad you liked it! Calming down TTC women since 2005 … (I started with myself. I needed it!)

I'm a psychology professor/researcher and mom of three. When I was trying to get pregnant, I read everything I could find -- and was surprised to find how much advice on fertility was wrong, according to the medical research. Or it was weird, like the statistics on over-35 fertility based on birth records from 17th century France (really!) Plus so many fertility books were boring, or written by men, or written by boring men. That's why I wrote The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant.

    LOVE this book. As soon as I found the website I had to read it (on Kindle of course, since Im the quintessentiall Impatient Woman.) Had a few laughs, and learned everything I needed to know in a 2-hr read. With internet being little more than a repository for junk data and folks who love acronyms way too much, this book was just a breath of fresh air for someone looking for reliable info wrapped in plain common sense. Thanks!
